Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all purchases of GreenGrip Tools products (hand tools: pruners, trowels, loppers; lawn care tools: rakes, leaf blowers, cordless mowers; digging tools: shovels, spades; power tools: electric hedge trimmers, chainsaws, pressure washers; and accessories: replacement blades, batteries, tool storage bags) and related services (professional tool maintenance, extended warranty enrollments) (collectively “Products/Services”) from GreenGrip Outdoor Solutions Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By placing an order via our website, authorized retailers, or customer support channels, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all product-specific guidelines (e.g., user manuals, power tool safety protocols) provided at the time of purchase.
1. Order Acceptance & Modifications
Your order constitutes a request to purchase Products/Services, not a binding contract. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or adjust orders if: (a) Products are out of stock (due to high demand for leaf blowers/rakes during fall or cordless mowers in spring, or supply chain delays for high-carbon steel blades); (b) Product details contain errors (e.g., misstated blade length, incorrect battery runtime for power tools); or (c) your delivery address is incompatible with bulk/commercial orders (e.g., 15+ chainsaws for landscaping companies may require freight shipping—remote rural areas may incur additional access fees). A binding contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation (email or physical document) including item specs, total cost (taxes, shipping, service fees), delivery timelines, and any required deposits.
Post-confirmation modifications (e.g., upgrading from a manual pruner to an electric lopper, adding a 2-year maintenance plan) must be submitted in writing within 24 hours. We will confirm feasibility and cost/timeline adjustments (e.g.,
150 for tool upgrades, 1–2 business days for accessory additions). For bulk/commercial orders (10+ units for landscaping firms, farms, or property management companies), modifications are prohibited once production or shipment begins (typically 3 business days post-confirmation); cancellations result in forfeiture of the 25% non-refundable deposit.
2. Product Specifications & Safety Compliance
All GreenGrip Tools meet global safety and quality standards: ANSI B100.1 (U.S. hand tool safety), EN 13212 (EU garden tool safety), and AS/NZS 4268 (Australia/New Zealand power tool safety). Product pages and manuals clearly list key specs: hand tool blade material (high-carbon steel/ stainless steel), power tool voltage (18V/40V lithium-ion), weight (1.2–12 lbs for hand tools, 8–30 lbs for power tools), and intended use (e.g., “for branches up to 2 inches” for loppers, “for small-to-medium lawns” for 16-inch mowers). Minor variations (e.g., subtle differences in handle grip texture, slight adjustments to battery charging time) are normal and do not qualify as defects.
You are responsible for: (a) Using products per safety guidelines (e.g., wearing gloves/eye protection with power tools, not using pruning shears on metal or concrete); (b) Proper maintenance (e.g., oiling blades to prevent rust, storing lithium-ion batteries at room temperature to avoid degradation); (c) Commercial tools used exclusively for intended purposes (e.g., farm-grade shovels for agricultural use—heavy construction debris requires specialized industrial tools). We provide safety tutorials (e.g., “How to Operate a Cordless Chainsaw Safely”) but are not liable for injury, property damage, or equipment failure caused by misuse, unapproved modifications (e.g., third-party blades), or neglect (e.g., dulled blades leading to tool strain).
3. Payment Terms
- Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers (for bulk/commercial orders over $2,500). Commercial customers may qualify for net-30 payment terms (subject to credit approval via business license, financial records, and reference checks).
- Deposits: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for bulk/commercial orders and custom-branded tools (e.g., logo-engraved trowels for garden centers); standard in-stock residential products require full payment at checkout (no deposit).
- Pricing: Prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) for U.S. orders, with local currency options (EUR, GBP, CAD) for international sales. Prices include applicable sales tax and compliance fees (excluding international orders—customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are your responsibility). Quotes are valid for 5 days; prices may adjust due to material cost increases (e.g., high-carbon steel, lithium-ion batteries) or regulatory changes to environmental standards (e.g., emissions limits for gas-powered tools).
- Late Payments: For commercial installment plans, unpaid balances incur a 2% monthly late fee. We may delay delivery, suspend maintenance services, or charge a restocking fee (15% of total order value) if payment is 12+ days overdue.

- Inspection: Inspect Products immediately upon delivery. Note damage (e.g., cracked tool handles, non-charging batteries) on the courier’s receipt, take photos of packaging and the product, and notify us within 48 hours. We will replace damaged items free of charge or issue a full refund; failure to report damage within 48 hours voids coverage.
5. Warranties & Returns
- Warranties: All GreenGrip Tools include a limited warranty: 3 years for hand tools (covers blade defects, handle breakage under normal use), 5 years for power tools (covers motors, batteries), 1 year for accessories (replacement blades, storage bags), and 6 months for wear parts (rake tines, mower blades). The warranty excludes: (a) Normal wear (e.g., dulled blades, worn grip pads); (b) Damage from misuse (e.g., dropping a chainsaw, using a shovel to pry rocks); (c) Repairs by non-GreenGrip authorized technicians. Extended warranties (up to 5 years for hand tools, 7 years for power tools) are available for purchase at checkout.
- Returns: Standard in-stock Products (unused, in original packaging, with all parts/manuals) may be returned within 30 days for a full refund (minus shipping fees). Custom-branded tools and commercial bulk orders are non-returnable unless defective (verified by our technical team), in which case we provide a replacement or pro-rated refund. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (except for defective items, where we provide a prepaid shipping label). Used or damaged-by-misuse tools are non-returnable.
